The Barn at Boyds Mills is located in Millanville which is in the Northeastern part of Pennsylvania on the traditional lands of the Lenape Nation. The retreat center is tucked in the foothills of the Pocono Mountains surrounded by 1,300-acre forest. . It is a couple of hours away from both NYC and Philadelphia, nearest airport is Scranton, PA. It is rich in family and Highlights Foundation history, and it’s a wonderful place that feeds the mind, body, and creative souls of those who visit.

I would like to volunteer at the retreat. A sign up sheet will be available when you arrive. Usually no more than 1 hour, or less, involved.

Lodging ~ Includes 12 meals, with special ‘happy hour’ dinner appetizers and optional wine or beer. Choose between Cabins, the Lodge or the Farmhouse – Available on a first come first served basis. Cancellation Policy

Before June 29, 2025 - A full refund minus $50 administrative fee if cancellation is requested in writing.

After June 29, 2025 - There can be no refunds unless your space can be filled by another participant. Since we anticipate this retreat selling out, hopefully your space can be filled, however, it cannot be guaranteed.
